Windows CE Emulator Error Message

I finally got my Virtual PC development environment configured so I can develop a Windows CE application in Visual Studio.NET 2003.  I created a new project (Smart Device Application), then pressed F5 to see what would happen.  Here is the error message I received.

You have this error because the Windows CE Emulator uses the same engine than Virtual PC (the Windows CE was developed by Connectyx, the creator of Virtual PC). As it is not possible to run a virtual pc machine into another virtual pc machine, it is not possible to run the Windows CE Emulator into a VPC image.

I figured something like that. It's still a funny error message none the less.

I was teaching a VB.NET class in Virtual PC the first time I saw that message. I had some extra time one day and they were asking about mobile app development, so I thought "let's just do some real quick...".

Well, that didn't work as you can see... but at least we got a laugh out of it.
